Government Reform and Human Rights Issues
All throughout 2020 and 2021, many Western governments behaved in an authoritarian fashion and/or made reforms to their legal systems against basic charters of rights and freedoms. Each time, the justifications were always because ‘we’re in an emergency’, or, if decided by the judiciary, ‘the pandemic justifies this’. Of course, one could easily argue that, ‘well, at least WE are not like China or Russia, those are true authoritarian regimes.’ This is true. However, if changes are done over periods of years, and, always in response for some ‘emergency’, slowly our Western nations’ democracies will trend towards authoritarianism. Currently, every change and measure is being done to quell a ‘danger’ for which the public is clamoring for a solution. ‘Deadly pandemic’, ‘terrorist racist trucker protesters’, etc. It is easy to enact laws and changes for such things that the majority have been scared into hating. It is not until the same laws are used against something one supports do people realize what’s changed. This is the classic explanation for free speech – silence everything you are against and one day they’ll silence something you support.
Many of these issues may be dropped during restriction-easing, but the point is (1) they are now normalized upon society and will be used again, probably the public will beg for them. And (2) the ‘hooks’ are in place, in that the systems needed to enforce these have been tested and perfected for future launch (passports, digital ID, QR scanning, mobile tracking via test-and-trace). All of these were trialed in China during the last decade, with Western support. Now it’s our turn.
Some main points noted in various regions:
1. From the start, March 2020, the majority of Western nations’ people supported restrictions of freedoms due to the ‘emergency’, some as high as 80% support. This continued for more than 18 months, with many now still continuing to agree with issues such as limiting people’s rights and freedoms based on their vaccine passport status. Even though the vaccine does little to stop you getting the virus or transmitting it, freedom of mobility, association, and access to public and private venues have changed from freedoms to opt-in privileges. There is a difference there.
2. Many Western publications – including The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and National Review – have mused that China’s onerous clampdown on its citizenry might be the most effective response to COVID-19. Professor Neil Ferguson, a controversial former adviser to 10 Downing St. in its response to the pandemic, told the British newspaper The Times that he initially didn’t think it would be possible to follow the Chinese model of a stringent lockdown: “It’s a communist one-party state, we said. We couldn’t get away with it in Europe, we thought. ... And then Italy did it. And we realized we could.” By this explanation it is ceded that anti-democratic lockdowns are now an acceptable tool.
3. By December 2020, many EU countries quietly enacted laws that made lockdowns permanent features of pandemic responses. In Germany, for example, Angela Merkel’s party enacted lockdowns as ‘law’, based on one scientific paper claiming they worked, with zero debate allowed and no opposition. In the enactment, Merkel claimed that this single scientific paper shows that lockdowns are a scientific certainty, the same as gravity. You cannot argue against gravity since science proved it, and so the same now goes for lockdowns as a scientific certainty.
(Note that there is no such thing as a scientific certainty. Science is all about debate, falsifying and testing claims, not about absolute facts).
4. U.K.: Reform bills passed to outlaw ‘protesting loudly’ in public areas. The quantitative measure of this is up to the whim of the government.
5. U.K.: “Rule by decree”. As laid out by Lord Sumption (former Supreme Court justice), the governments of the West essentially ruled by decree. There were many months where there were no parliamentary debates, no questions allowed, and no judicial oversight. In addition, the government took control and ordered the police to enforce rules, rather than the police following the law.
6. In the USA and other countries, government bills and laws in are in the works to categorize protests and assembly rights against government measures (such as COVID mandates, lockdowns, or climate change issues), as ‘domestic terrorism’. The US Department of Homeland Security issued a Terrorism Bulletin that ‘democracy remains under imminent threat from ideologically-motivated violent extremists’, including groups ‘angered over COVID 19 restrictions’. This was handily tied together once the Canadian truckers convoy was smeared as not only racist and far-right, but also equated with the January 6, 2021 ‘insurrection’ storming of the Capitol buildings in the US.
7. In Germany, German Intelligence was authorized to put ‘deniers’ under surveillance without warrants. The German Interior Ministry also explained that ‘extremists encourage supporters to ignore official orders and challenge the state monopoly on the use of force’. Germany also passed the ‘Infection Protection Act’ which formally grants the government the authority to issue whatever edicts it wants under the guise of protecting the public health. The government has been doing this anyway — ordering lockdowns, curfews, travel bans, banning demonstrations, raiding homes and businesses, ordering everyone to wear medical masks, harassing and arresting dissidents, etc. — but now it has been “legitimized” by the Bundestag.
8. Many EU countries, as well as Australia, moved to criminalize peaceful protest – a fundamental right in any western nation. Peaceful protesters were met actively with tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets. The majority of policing was outsourced to security firms and contractors.
9. The Canadian military acknowledged that they used propaganda techniques against their population, which is usually only done by totalitarian regimes. In any other time, this would lead to Civil Liberty groups being outraged at privacy violations.
On Oct.19, 2021, the UK ‘Parliament’ extended the Coronavirus Act which continues to gives government ‘temporary’ emergency-measure powers indefinitely, without a vote, all the while literally laughing at the motion passing as if laughing at the sham of the democratic process – no oversight, no objection, no discussion. “If the 'emergency' legislation can be casually extended with a hearty guffaw in a 'democratic' society, it's neither an emergency, or a democracy.”
Suspension of basic rights, per Brian Peckford, former Premier of Newfounland, and the last surviving author of the 12 premiers/leaders who formed the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This was added to and on top of the Bill of Rights, only it solidifies the process so that no single federal leader can usurp the rights within Provinces. Section 2, 6, 7, and 15 are all in states of permanent violation. These include rights to assembly, association, movement/mobility, job-seeking/employment. These are all suspended under the clause in section 1, which allows for a provision of temporary suspension ‘if the government shows demonstrable justification’ (or emergency). No government has demonstrated this, no data, no ‘discovery’ of information to show a state of emergency, no debate, no counter-argument, no discussion among MPs. Political leaders are beholden to the citizens to take the public health issues into consideration along with all other public issues, not just health. Debate should occur, and elected MPs should decide. Instead, we have had 2 years of non-elected employees (Public Health Officers), who are NOT allowed to address Parliament, controlling our government and democracy. Only MPs/MLAs, elected representatives of the people, are legally allowed to speak/address issues at Parliament.
Throughout 2020 and 2021, almost all legal challenges showing how lockdowns, vx mandates, and other government measures violate the charter of rights (basic UN human rights, constitutional freedoms, etc.) were thrown out basically with the judgement ‘we should believe our health officers that we are in a deadly pandemic’. One case in Alberta even had evidence accepted by the Provincial Health Officer, in that they agreed the PCR test was flawed, and does not test for a true case, but rather fragments of virus in healthy people. Still, verdict was ‘we should not be second-guessing our experts during a deadly pandemic’.
Updates from 2022 into 2023, government reforms and bills being passed.
The continual ‘state of emergency’ or various forms of this have gone on for two years now and have no end in sight. Even if these are temporarily lifted, they have been normalized upon a fearful public, to be easily invoked at any future time. All ‘crises’ were and are used to justify this without any parliamentary debate. The main crisis remains C19 even though it does not fit the ‘mass death’ requirement for an emergency. Floods, fires, outages are also used. Finally, due to the peaceful truckers protests, the PM issued a state of emergency (Emergency Measures Act) without Parliamentary debate on Feb 16, 2022. Without even being formally passed, the PM started right away with outlawing lawful (peaceful) assembly, seizing funds directly from banks, abolishing civil liberties (movement or mobility, assembly). No media. Just arrests with arbitrary detention and no due process. This includes threatening to arrest journalists. The Emergency State was removed before a vote days later, yet all the illegal measures and tactics remained.
In parallel, various Bills were passed or planned around the area of free speech and online speech. Any and all acts of anti-government messaging was tied to white supremacy, hate, misogyny, anything that the majority would agree with. The American system may be the model here. Here, the State can be seen fomenting fear and division yet again with language that there is a ‘heightened threat’ pervasive in society that needs to be dealt with. Those who recall the post 9/11 fear-mongering will recognize the constant ‘threat’ of terrorism that could hit at any time. This multi-year state of fear was used to easily get the public to accept a war in Iraq without congressional approval. The text-book application of fear is much worse for 2020-2030 (?), and is aimed at all Western nations.
Having successfully pulled the majority of humanity online to social media for all aspects of life and information over a ten-year period (2010-2020), it is easy now for them to clamp down on the censorship aspect of SM. And the masses will gladly accept in order to ‘stay safe’. The screenshots below highlight the newest forms of online ‘violence’, mis-, dis-, and mal-information – the “MDM”. These are always implemented to deter some foreign enemy, but the ‘domestic’ ones are the true target. That is, the State’s own citizens.

Technocracy: The Operating System For The New International Rules-Based Order (unlimitedhangout.com)
1. Per above – US Department of Homeland Security, criminalizing dissent and anti-government messaging as terrorism. This also infringes on free speech, similar to China.
2. New Zealand. PM Jacinda Ardern (WEF Young Global Leader), intends to ignore the inalienable right to movement/roam, unless they submit to vaccination.
3. European Commission: EU in general, similar to others, the Digital Covid Certificate ‘grants’ freedom of movement to only vaccinated. I.e. the vaccine status will evolve to the digital ID for online ‘safety’ and access.
4. Globally, the digital ID for social control is part of the UN Sustainability Goal 16.9, regardless who is ‘running the world’.
5. The Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Act 2020 empowers the state to commit any crime it likes and removes all legal liability from its operatives; the Police, Crimes, Sentencing & Courts Bill effectively outlaws all public protest and, while currently stalled after the House of Lords rejected the Bill, some minor amendments will almost certainly see it passed into law; the Online Safety Bill, when enacted, will end freedom of speech online and the proposed changes to official secrets, counter-espionage; and counter-terrorism legislation will remove the journalist’s defence of acting in the public interest, effectively ending whistle-blowing and investigative journalism in the UK.
6. Canada, similar to the UK and USA, is trying to enact Bill C10, which criminalizes speech against the gov’t or any ‘violent’ speech online that offends. The party offended cannot be confronted, and the accused does not have the right to access the content deemed offensive.
7. Money seizures, as done during the Trucker protests, became accepted, even though this was done during the brief few day period during the Emergency Act, The time BEFORE being debated and rejection by the Government. The government can order national banks to seize accounts without warrant, and the person whose account seized has no recourse to stop or reverse this.
8. Pandemic Treaty Is Being Established May 24, 2021, the European Council announced it supported the establishment of an international Pandemic Treaty, under which the WHO would have the power to replace the constitutions of individual nations with its own constitution under the banner of “pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.”
9. Direct legislation ‘guidance’ from the WEF without democratic oversight. The reach of powers centrally-controlled via the World Economic Forum has no scrutiny from any of the citizens of any country that voted in their elected representatives. Such ‘guidance’, since it shapes the laws and future of those countries, should be open and transparent. If not, how can anyone claim true free democracy?
From the head of the WEF:
“Mrs Merkel, even Vladimir Putin, and so on, they have all been Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are really proud of now with the young generation like Prime Minister Trudeau, President of Argentina and so on, is that we penetrate the cabinets. So yesterday I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of this cabinet, or even more than half of this cabinet, are for our… actually Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum.” Klaus Schwab, WEF founder, 2016.
Political leaders such as Tony Blair, Jacinda Ardern, Emmanuel Macron, Alexander De Croo (Belgian PM), Sanna Marin (Finnish PM) and many more political heavyweights have been through the YGL programme. This is why, in an address to the Canadian nation in November 2020, in direct reference to the WEF’s so-called Great Reset, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said:
“Building back better means getting support to the most vulnerable while maintaining momentum on the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and the SDGs. [. . .] This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset. This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to re-imagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change.”
